Edunnect is an online school application platform that I was offered the opportunity to single-handedly develop from scratch to deployment. After getting a solid understanding of what was required of the system, I took to the drawing board where I would attempt to draw a wireframe of the system, based on my understanding. The wireframe would give a view of what the finished product will do and how it will behave. Once the wireframe was approved I would start with the actual prototype design. At the time, the Neumorphic style of UI had just entered the scene and I was absolutely taken aback by it. Without hesitation, I opted for a neumorphic look and feel in the design of the prototype.
With the prototype complete and development direction well set, I would kick off with developing the system. I used PHP with the Laravel framework to develop the system from back end to front end, so it follows the typical MVC design pattern. It was the project that cemented my understanding of fullstack development along with UI/UX design.
